Change of name.

Only already existing customers can file a request for changes.
You are obliged to identify yourself when making your request.
The required documents can be faxed to : 869-7135.

The charges for a name change are Naf 50,00 ( US$ 28.57).

Change of name as a consequence of the death:

The surviving spouse must submit a marriage certificate and a death certificate. In case the spouse has already died, the installation can be transferred to one of the children. But the other children have to grant a written permission.

Change of name as a consequence of marriage:

In this case the customer must submit a marriage certificate.

Change of name as a consequence of divorce:

In this case the customer (the woman) must submit a divorce certificate. In addition, in case the installation has to be transferred into the name of the former spouse (the partner other than the current customer) a deed of partition of property is required.

Change of name following the purchase of a house:

In this case the notarial deed of sale must be submitted.
