CurGas, short for Curaçao Gas N.V., is a 100% daughter company
of Curoil N.V. The
former “ Nederlands AntilliaanseGas Maatschappij ( NAGM)” was
taken over by Curoil N.V. which takeover was followed by the establishment
of CurGas as of April 1987
CurGas is selling propane. This propane is obtained during the refining
of crude oil, hence the name LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas).
Company objectives
The object of CurGas is to distribute LPG (Propane
Gas), to be specific: 20 lbs, 100 lbs cylinders and bulk gas in the island
territory of Curaçao, to install, maintain and to inspect gas cylinders.
Curgas aims to achieve its objectives by applying an aggressive marketing
policy supported by effected cost control with special emphasis on efficiency
increase, preventive and creative action, while optimizing the service
quality and guaranteeing the continuity of the company and the job opportunities
